Large Rayon Labyrinth with Moon Phases Grid
This beautiful grid is made from 100% Rayon fabric. Rayon is a soft, silk-like fabric that is very lightweight (scarves are often made of Rayon).
The design is done completely in black and the background is a lovely bluish green.
This is one of our larger grids, measuring 19" x 19" square. The Labyrinth with moon phases design measures 8 1/2".
This grid would also make a lovely altar cloth or wall hanging.
Full Description
The moon represents that which is hidden or in the shadows and which requires a journey inwards to discover (as opposed to an external path such as research, etc.) Therefore, it represents the true, often hidden self.
The moon also represents powerful feminine energy. It signifies wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation, and a spiritual connection.
Moon cycles are similar to the cycle of a seed: the seed grows into a flower, then blooms, and then dies. One can come to understand the cycles of life more deeply by studying the phases of the moon.
The labyrinth is an ancient symbol of wholeness. The imagery of the circle and spiral combine into a meandering but purposeful journey. The Labyrinth represents a journey or path to our own center and back again out into the world.
